IMPORTANT
NOTIFICATION FOR ALL COACHES
|
To ALL MHYSL Coaches:
Please be advised that all coaches and assistant coaches
MUST remain on the coaches
sideline only, within 10 yards of the midfield line and within your
half of the field. There is absolutely NO
COACHING from behind the goal or along the parents sideline,
and no running up and down the field to accompany the play of the
game. Please make the game as enjoyable as possible for ALL
the children and do not bark out orders during the play, this teaches
the kids to only respond to commands rather then to learn and enjoy
the game. Coach at practice, before your games, during your breaks
and after the game; during play, give them their 10 minutes of fun.
Be advised that this is not a request and violators will be dealt
with accordingly.
For the Good of the Game

COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES
|
Lock Boxes:
In the lock box you will see two duffel bags. Except
Cadwallader U6 and Carolyn Clark U12 & U10 has 4 duffle bags.
Basically every goal has it's own duffel bag. Inside each duffel
bag:
- 1 net
- 1 smaller ditty/duffel bag which contains:
- 1 Mallet/hammer
- 2 goal anchors
- 4-6 net anchors
- 12 net ties
Setting Up Goals:
Bring the entire duffel bag to goal area. Remove
nets, anchors etc. and place duffel bag in corner of goal. DO
NOT PUT THE DUFFEL BAG BACK IN the LOCK BOX You will leave
it there for the team responsible for taking down the goals.
Tearing Down Goals:
The duffel bag should be in the corner of goal.
Simply shove the net in large duffel bag. Place anchors, ties
etc. in smaller ditty/duffel bag then in larger duffel and place
back in lock box.
MAKE SURE GOALS ARE SECURED
AT THE TOP WITH THE COMBO LOCK!
Please DO NOT throw
loose equipment back in the box let's try and keep it in the duffel
bags.
Don't hesitate to contact Lisa
Davidson if you have any problems or suggestions
